receive the gentle waves of the great prairie sea. This is Grand Beach, located
on Lake Winnipeg - the sixth largest lake in Canada. The endangered Piping
Plover is just one of many species that makes the sands of Grand Beach its home.
Grand Beach is forested with many kilometers of post glacial trails, old eskers
now rolling hills, overlooking the lake.
